Pretty uneventful travels between Mesa and Redondo Beach. We only stopped one night at the south entrance of the Joshua Tree National Park. The Bureau of Land Management offers free camping near the national park’s south and north entrance.  There aren’t any restrooms, no fires allowed (unless you get a permit) no trash collection, no swimming pool and no hot tub—obviously they aren’t the fanciest campgrounds available, but it is a superb deal for the low, low price of $0.00 per site.

This is not us, we got there late and left early. No time for a picture!

And here we crammed into my buddies driveway for a couple of months!! JUST FIT!!

Thanks Jay!!
