UPDATE: I forgot to mention one of the interesting parts of our adventure to Arizona… Just after going through Winslow, we stopped along the road to give Sadie a little exercise and relieve herself. Almost immediately an officer showed up and after a short lecture, we were informed we were NOT ALLOWED to park just outside the gate of Arizona State Prison Complex – Winslow!!! We didn’t even realize we had… DUH!!

All packed up and ready to leave Riverview RV Park, Loveland, CO
Heading out for The Good Life RV Resort, Mesa, AZ
Our first stop along the way was a one-night boondocking stay at Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. There were only 2 other campers here so we had all the room we wanted and parked right next to Lake 13!
Second stop was Black Mesa Casino in New Mexico. They have a very nice RV Parking section.
Free camping for up to 3 days with the option of getting electricity for $20 per 24 hours!!
Third night did not go as planned… Our original plan was to spend the night in the Painted Cliffs Rest Area in Lupton, AZ; however, it ended up being CLOSED!! Luckily there was plenty of places just outside the park where you could park an RV!!
Well, we made it to our destination Good Life RV Resort, time to settle in and enjoy “The Good Life”!!

The sunsets here are just spectacular!!
